All vegetables. You are encouraged to eat until you are stuffed with all the raw or cooked vegetables of your choice. There is no limit on the amount or type. For your complex carbohydrate, you will start day two with a large baked potato for breakfast. You may top the potato with one pat of butter.
Day 2 Actual
Had a huge plate of salad with balsamic vinegar dressing for lunch, had a meeting with Mayor Tommy Osmena and the barangay chiefs earlier in the day, tooo early in the day. I was served the meat pie from angelica by the decidedly EVIL staff from CIPC who knows i am on a diet. i was able to resist and took home three packets to give out to my colleagues in the office. i looked at them munching on the pork asado while purged myself with all the leafy greens i can eat until i just about turned green like the HULK. note to self: the salad had some cheese on it, not really allowed.
For dinner i had food from the pantry, laswa (blanched mixed vegetables) and another serving of chop suey (i carefully avoided eating the meat parts. come to think of it, there was very little porky bits in the mix).
had green tea in brown cup and since my head is already aching from the lack of complex carbo (well, it did say i was supposed to get some complex carbo) i decided to grab baked magic chips made from whole wheat flour. right. complex.
i'll find out how i did tomorrow. stay tuned in!
